How many people can say this?
"I was one who never spoke unless it improved upon silence. Tell them that I never moved unless it improved upon stillness"

Stop Kony
Watch.
I feel like this guy's antics resembles Hitler. My question is, why do people value power so much? You like the feeling of being in charge so much that you're willing to ruin the lives of CHILDREN? What kind of person do you have to be to make people kill their parents? or takeaway someones childhood? because you like like power. I hope this guy gets caught and is put in jail until he dies.

Keep fighting, I'm a vessel full of power...
So my theme song used to be a song by a woman named Maurette Brown Clark called "It ain't Over". During that time, mother was fighting cancer and I was healing from a past relationship. This song also helped when I used to run track in high school. I would literally play this song the ENTIRE day until it was time for me to run. If you guys remember, I used to run the 4x400m relay, which was the very last race. This song literally speaks to my soul and I pray that this song does the same for you.
Nowadays, my theme song is a song by a man named Micah Stampley called "The Corinthian Song." This song also speaks to my soul. This is the way I've felt about myself for quite some time. I'm a vessel, full of power with a treasure from the lord. I've learned not to let things discouage me because I know I have a greater purpose. You cannot end up from point A to point B without the process. Things that are meant to be do not come without a fight. This song encourages me and reminds me of who I am.

If you really knew me...
If you really knew me you'd know that back in October my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
You'd know that in January she started her first Chemo treatment and that she finished her last Chemo treatment in June.
If you really knew me, you'd know that a week or two later she started radiation and that she finish her radiation treatments a couple weeks ago.
If you really knew me, you'd know that my mother is CANCER FREE is she's walkin, talkin, and preachin!!!
(and yes, I drew that ribbon)

It Finally Click'd
Yesterday, me and my ENTIRE family, well, not my ENTIRE family, just everybody who lives with me. So just 4 people went to go register for school. I was kinda bum'd because I didn't wanna go. I wasn't interested in seeing my school. So yeah, I had a stinky attitude. My sister was all excited. But if you ask her, she'll say she wasn't, but she really was. That's all she talked about since they sent us the registration papers. But anyway, I saw some people, and I saw some people I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND and yeah. I also saw my track coach, COACH BARNES. He was like "You runnin track this year?" and then I was like "I don't know. I don't think I'm good enough! Place name here run the 4!!" So then, he was like, "Don't worry about that. Don't be scared! You ran last year and you was fast before you got injured" Then he was like if you wanna run this year, how 'bout you come once a week and lift weights so we can get you ready. So yeah, I'm running this spring. IDK, I feel like there's a pull coming from that direction. Maybe there's a scholarship with my name on it? Hm. TRUST GOD.
If you havn't guessed by now, I'm excited for senior year. SEN11OR YEAR!!! I'm also excited for this college thing. I can see myself in a university. I just gotta work on my social skills. Being friendly is so hard. OMG.

Yay.!
Today was my mom's last Radiation Treatment. She was diagnosed with breat cancer back in October-November-ish. So yeah we've been dealing with that. But, she's fine. She already went through the Chemo and now she's done with the radiation. I never really worried too much about her well-being. I mean, don't get me wrong, I had my moments when I would be like, "OMG what if she dies" but that was only for like a quick second. I guess I just knew that God had her back. And he did. So now, I'm thinking about going to DePaul for PreMed. I'm going to be an Oncologist-a branch of medicine that deals with tumors or, cancer. I wanna see people fight their way outta cancer. And I'll be there to encouage them when they get weak. Being Cancer Free is possible. It's not just a dream.

Pharrell Williams- "I'll be 40 in 3 years"
Often times I would see people's blogs and they'd show Pharrell as one of their inspirations. Then I would be like "Why come so many people look up to this man?" I heard that he was smart, but I didn't realize how IDK informed he really was. I was watchin the K!dult video on Diggy's blog and I was just intrigued by so much stuff he said. He said that there's no such thing as "having nothing." We as Americans look at living in a ratty apartment, and a raggedy car as having nothing. But people in 3rd world countries would love to live in our "ratty apartments" and drive our "raggedy cars." They don't even have floors! And they have to travel miles and miles to get water that's not even clean. We're spoiled. He said that nothing is "deep space with no stars." That's powerful. We don't live in deep space with no stars. So I think for now on, I'm going to stop conplainin about the stuff I don't have. Because people in other countries would love to have what I have.

Tuesday Inspiration
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
